Tomci Storybook letter

Thanks to all of our generous donations, we were able to buy recordable Hallmark storybooks for troops serving overseas.  The books were sent out in August to a member of our military serving in a foreign country.  They then recorded themselves reading the story and sent the book back.  Their children received the storybook in time for Christmas and were able to hear their parent’s voice reading to them.

The picture above is a thank you letter from Hallmark, please click on it to enlarge.  Thanks again for all that you do!

Valor Home Donation!

January 25th, 2012

Today, The Cpl. Joseph A. Tomci Foundation is proud to announce that we have made a $3,000 donation to sponsor a residence’s room at the newly constructed Valor Home in Akron, OH.

The Valor Home’s mission is to help homeless veterans find and retain permanent housing.  Their newly constructed building will be located in Akron, Ohio and will house up to 30 homeless veterans until they can find a more stable residency.

The Tomci Foundation is a strong supporter of the Valor Home and their mission.  We hope that our donation to sponsor a residency room will have a lasting effect on veterans who use the facility.  To find out more information on the Valor Home, please visit their website http://valorhome.org/.

We are thankful for all of our donations that enable us to support such great causes for our veterans!
